Question by rooneygirl420: I need help with Frye Harness 12R sizing?
I just got a pair of Frye Harness 12R boots and I love them, but I have a bit of a problem. I can get the right boot on with little difficulty, but the left boot is another story. It’s quite a struggle to get the boot on and I even break a sweat (my instep on my left foot is higher than my right). I emailed Frye and asked them about sizing and they, along with many reviews, advised going a half size down. I’ve also read that they stretch, but I don’t know if I should keep the boots or get my normal size. I wouldn’t want my normal size to stretch and end up too big. Anyone who has experience with these boots please help!!

Get your normal size. I’ve got Frye boots (which I LOVE too) and they fit kinda large to begin with. Mine were very roomy when I first got them, but the boots will conform to each foot. For the boot that’s smaller, it will most likely stretch, but if you’re impatient take it to shoe repair store and they can stretch it. I wouldn’t advise getting a size down and have bigger problem pulling both boots off. I pretty much live in my harness boots whenever I wear my leather or denim pants. They’re one of my most favorite pair and the boots do get better the more you wear them. Hope this helps.
