Question by Erin: Frye Paige Tall Riding Boots grey (slate) vs black?
I have fallen in love with Frye’s paige tall riding boots. However have been delaying my purchase because I can not for the life of me decide on black or grey! So I need a little advice. My thoughts, black of course goes with most EVERY thing but i am afraid of looking too “biker babe” (just not my style im more indi boho -ish). The grey I think will be a bit more feminine and soft, but will it go with many outfits? If I am paying $ 350 for a pair of boots I want to get some use out of them! Thanks!

Ha ha, I am having the same dilemma! Except I am also thinking about the tan colour.. I’m pretty sure I won’t go for black as it’s a bit plain. I’m really drawn to the grey pair, but like you am not sure if the colour will work. Also doesn’t help that I’ve seen it on a couple of different websites and the colour is different – looks quite dark on some and really light on others.
I suppose the only advice I can give is look at what you have in your wardrobe and see if it will go.. Also if you think the black one is not your style then you maybe wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing them?
I’m hoping you get more answers as I want some advice too!
